Our Company has obtained the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) license as a manager of collective assets and has affirmed its foray into the Swiss market.

In what was the most challenging year for markets since the 2008-2009 financial crisis, our investment strategy outperformed a majority of market players and Axioma Leveraged Bond Fund delivered an outstanding 16.8% gross return for our investors.

Our flagship product, AXIOMA Leveraged Bond Fund, has reached and gone over the US$100m landmark. Following this, we have applied for the license with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA.

We have welcomed yet more professionals into our ever-evolving team. Their unique expertise and insights have contributed into our pool of knowledge and experience.

Several experts joined our team and the brand-new website was launched providing our clients and partners with a quick access to regularly updated information on AXIOMA products and insights into Fixed Income market.

First year Fund performance is up to 14%. Historical fixed income strategy performance reached 15% p.a. since 2009. AXIOMA held an information event on the current amendments to the AML legislation.

AXIOMA expanded its product line with own fixed income fund available to a wider range of investors. The company accomplished registration with IRS as a Swiss Registered Deemed-Compliant Financial Institution.

Switzerland ratified the OECD Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters. AXIOMA, as a pioneer is a strong promoter of Global Tax Transparency.

AXIOMA delivered investment expertise to a succesful partnership with a significant institutional client.

Аnticipating future developments, AXIOMA strongly believed that Switzerland would comply with international standards on tax matters. Banking secrecy on tax related aspects would no longer be applicable to foreign clients.

While ECB launched measures to support bank lending and money market activity in the EU, AXIOMA acted proactively and realigned its investment strategy to incorporate euro-denominated issues. This was the backbone of 30.5% performance earned in 2012.

Decrease in interest rates and leverage extension contributed to the portfolio's performance. Improving credit quality of securities created attractive risk-return ratio in emerging markets.

AXIOMA joined SAAM and adopted the Swiss Code of Conduct for Independent Asset Managers. Partner Agreements with the leading Swiss banks brought advantages to our clients. Share capital of the company was increased to CHF 1'000'000. The company established a fully-fledged representative office in Moscow.

The financial crisis peaked in 2008 bringing new challenges to investors. AXIOMA was established in Zurich as a holistic and prudent response to global financial turbulence.
